Bullhorn, the global leader in On Demand, front office staffing and recruiting software, today announced the addition of John McCammond as vice president of business development at Bullhorn.  McCammond most recently served as vice president of business development at Salary.com, and brings extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and finance in software, hardware, ecommerce and banking companies ranging from start-ups to multinationals. He will be responsible for developing and executing Bullhorn’s worldwide strategic vision for corporate development, international expansion, M&A efforts and partnership initiatives in the staffing and recruiting industry.

“We are pleased to welcome an executive with John’s strong track record to Bullhorn,” said Art Papas, CEO and co-founder of Bullhorn.  “Bullhorn is enjoying a strong period of growth and we are excited to apply John’s expertise to the various opportunities we have to grow the company internationally and through new and existing business partnerships.”

“Bullhorn is an exciting place to work and offers a combination of proven leadership along with multiple opportunities to grow and expand,” said John McCammond, vice president of business development at Bullhorn.  “The company has already attracted top talent, venture backers and many satisfied customers in the staffing and recruiting industry.  I am excited to work with the management team on executing Bullhorn’s strategic vision of bringing technology innovation to staffing and recruiting professionals so that they can source talent and make placements faster and easier.”

Prior to Bullhorn, John was vice president of business development at on-demand compensation and talent management provider Salary.com where he led business development and was responsible for strategic deals and planning as well as creating new channels, products and business models. Before Salary.com, he was vice president of channel sales at data integration vendor Avaki where he built the channel from scratch in the US, Europe and Asia and managed the channel sales and marketing teams. Prior to Avaki, he was vice president of business development at enterprise software provider Engage and responsible for strategic partnerships with software vendors.  Before Engage, he ran business development at an ecommerce retailer where he implemented partnerships and affiliate programs. While at fault tolerant hardware company Stratus Computer, he opened new markets, built a new end user sales channel and put in place the marketing infrastructure to support partners as well as industry marketing initiatives.

Before Stratus, John spent several years as a banker at JP Morgan.   He has a BA from Williams College and a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  He lives with his wife and daughter outside Boston.
