Jason Rodriguez Arrested for Orlando Shooting at Reynolds Smith and Hills

A gunman identified as Jason Rodriguez was apprehended Friday in Orlando, Florida after shooting 6 people at Reynolds Smith and Hills, an architectural and engineering firm in Gateway Center. Orlando police say of the 6 people shot only 1 was killed.

Police Chief Val Demings says Rodriguez, who used to work at the firm, was arrested after surrendering at his mother’s home “without incident.”

Authorities say the victims are in stable condition.

Rodriguez was fired from Reynolds Smith and Hills two years ago for “performance issues.” No other details on the shooting were available.
