A woman attacked Kim Kardashian with a plastic bag full of flour Thursday night at a West Hollywood charity event hosted by the reality star. Kardashian was walking the red carpet at the London Hotel for the launch of her new fragrance True Reflection when the woman tossed the “flour bomb” at her. Flour coated Kardashian’s black jacket and hair.
After a brief break to clean up, Kardashian returned to the red carpet and joked with reporters about the incident. "Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there,” she said.
Kardashian told Us Weekly magazine she was determined to not let the flour bomb ruin the event, which benefited Dress for Success.
"This was a Dress for Success a charity event so I wanted to come back for all of the women involved," she said. “That was insane! I laughed it off and came right back! I took 10 minutes to dust it off and came back to do interviews. When I came back, I just said I asked my makeup artist to bring me powder -- and that I didn't think he would bring that much!"
Police took a report at the scene, but did not arrest the attacker. The Associated Press reports Kardashian, 31, will not press charges.
