Two players for the San Francisco 49ers, Aldon Smith and Ray
McDonald, have been arrested over the two weeks for DUI.
Linebacker Aldon Smith, 22, was arrested in South Beach for
driving while intoxicated on Friday January 27th. He was booked into
Miami-Dade Corrections for $1,000 bond. The police did not provide any further
details of his arrest.
Smith, like any one arrested on DUI charges, can greatly
benefit from the representation of a Miami DUI attorney.
Smith’s teammate Ray McDonald was arrested in Sunnyvale,
California Wednesday for an outstanding warrant stemming from a 2010 arrest for
suspicion of driving under the influence in San Mateo. Police pulled McDonald
over for a routine traffic violation and discovered the warrant, according to
San Jose Mercury News. This is the
second DUI for McDonald and he could face professional repercussions.
Just one indiscretion like a DUI can have a detrimental
effect on the professional and personal life of the accused. The best way to
avert the disaster that this charge can lead to is to employ a Miami DUI lawyer to begin working on
your case immediately.
Most people don’t realize that they are intoxicated when
they get behind the wheel. Police are always on the lookout for drunken drivers
and when they catch someone the consequences can be dire. But a Miami DUI attorney will
apply their expertise to have the charges and penalties reduced to lessen the
negative impact.
